Measurement systems, and the discipline to check them.

single29 is an independent data and signal research practice. We build systems that measure things, then verify what they report against the source — because a number nobody checks against an expectation is a number nobody is checking.

What we do

How we work

Most reporting failures are not arithmetic errors. They are a system substituting what it can produce for what it should measure — a proxy that diverges from the real thing at exactly the moment it matters.

So the method is consistent: measure the thing itself, treat any proxy as a warning rather than a verdict, and report what was observed rather than a guess at the cause. Where the evidence does not support a conclusion, we say so.
